Is it part of the democrat platform to oppose stopping bankrobbers at the front door of the banks because it would reduce the number of people frequenting the banks?

"DNC Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL) says the Republican party is trying to disenfranchise and "suppress" the votes of minorities and other groups in the Democratic voting bloc by enacting laws requiring a valid I.D. at polls.

"It's very transparent who they're trying to block from the polls and who they want to smooth the path for," Wasserman Schultz said in an interview with MSNBC's Martin Bashir.

State Republican legislatures are passing bills that require a valid I.D. in order to vote to prevent voter fraud. However, Wasserman Schultz denies that charge, saying fraud is "simply a problem that doesn't exist."

The DNC Chairwoman accused the Republican party of not being able to "win elections on the merits," so they have to cheat.

"They know they can't win elections on the merits, so they're trying to rig elections by blocking people's access to the polls," Wasserman Schultz charged."

I once asked the Iowa Secretary of State about the prevalence of voter fraud.   He said in the 17 years he is aware of, there has never been even one prosecution.

Also denying someone the vote has the same effect as some else voting twice the opposite way. 

There will be hundreds of people who will not be able to vote because of registration laws, and ID requirements.

Those few who might vote twice could be close to 50-50, D's vs. R's.

Those denied the vote would be overwhelmingly D's.

That is what is behind the Republican efforts for more limits on voter registration and ID rquirements.

So....she's aware that "minorities and other groups in the Democratic voting bloc" do not have valid ID's? Thanks for making the point for the RNC! If one must be 18 to vote, shouldn't one be able to prove that? Definitely not the brightest bulb at the DNC!

Likewise; "fraud is "simply a problem that doesn't exist." Really? I guess she missed the expose on nobama's ACORN and their voter fraud, who operate under what different names now?
