"It won't affect only dems.   Never said it would.   It will affect both D's and R's but D's to a greater extent.  You should be smart enough to come up with a half dozen reasons why."

D's to a greater extent? We are all still waiting why you said "D's to a greater extent", mallcontent?

(You don't lose well, do ya?) How come you are so silent and have quit posting now?

I've given you all time to prove you are smart enough to figure it out and apparently none of you are.   None of you have come up with even one reason.

I know you will reject any and all reasons I give you but, hell, I don't want to deprive you of the little entertainment you get here so will give you six.

In general many Democrats come from the poorer and older segments of society compared to Republicans.

1. They are less likely to have a drivers license ID.  (there are many other forms of ID)

2. They are lower on the employment ladder and have a harder time getting time off to get to any place issuing ID's.  (A citizen needs an ID to get a full time job from which he would find it hard to take time off)

3. Their lack of transportation makes it more difficult to get to any place issuing ID's.  (They can get to the welfare office, it seems)

4. They can less afford to pay for an ID.  (Give up a pack of cigarettes or the cell phone)

5. They are less likely to have a student ID.  (there are many forms of ID)

6. They are less likely to have a state issued professional license ID.  (LMFAO)

And you know all this to be true, in what way?

We should take this as your opinion, I suppose?

Every democrat  I've met has an ID of some kind.

Are you suggesting that it is perfectly OK with you if non citizens vote in our elections?  If not, how are we going to decide who votes and who doesn't?

I suggest that any adult that does not possess an ID, except  in cases of recent loss, does so because they do not want people to know who they are.

And I say again, we all know the real reason dems are against this.

I've been here for a long time, and have seen some pretty bizarre posts.  But this one has to be the most ridiculous I've seen.

I must agree to a point Nigel, she makes rather humorous claims but this is far from her "most" ridiculous.

As for number 1, a drivers license is not required for identification, it is simply one form of identification that is accepted.

As for number 2, there are 365 days in a year and four years between national elections which means they have 1460 days between elections.  In all honesty do you really believe they work every one of these days?

As for number 3, obviously you are one who feels feet or a bus are no longer an acceptable means of transportation.

As for number 4, a state issued photo ID only costs $5 in Iowa, over four years that's less than three cents a week.

As for number 5, as with number 1 this is merely one form of identification.

As for number 6, this is a rewording of number 1.

Please continue Mal, your humor allows me to have laugh lines.

If these "excuses" she gives vs. "reasons" are what she is calling her ace in the hole, maybe she can tell us all how any liberals have won any elections? Seems like none of her excuses applied then....
