Muscatine

Reading today's newspaper it appears Clean Air Muscatine will finally get the City to do something about the deadly air coming from GPC.  Clean Air Muscatine apparently wants some monitoring that willl be able to warn people the days the air is too bad to breathe:  Suggested sign on Jogging trail:

Gosh....this is news.  I've been living and breathing here for 40+ years.  Doc says I'm fine.

In the article about them attending the council meeting, I liked the part where their leader said the mayor nor council asked them no questions about any of their demands and that was not a good sign.

I think the monitoring is in place but it's not reported in a timely or useful manner.
Most of us have learned to tell a bad day from a not so bad day but we really can't tell just how life threatening the bad days are.
