"If you think that CLAM will quit asking the questions and they will swept under the rug, as Just Curious is attempting to accomplish, you are wrong. I know a few of the CLAM members, and they won't be swept under the carpet. Maybe its time to start answering the questions."
Answering what questions?
Well, like what percentage of nitrogen, CO2. particulates, sulfur, mercury, smell etc will this new device remove? Will it allow for expansion? Is it good for the next 30, 40, 50, or 100 years? Will it be operated correctly all the time? Do they have qualified operators? Is it designed to just barely meet the standards or will there still be days the limits are exceeded? Will we be warned if they are? What means of warning are in place? Planned?
Are they cleaning up their water too? Where are they putting their coal ash? Is it leaching into the ground water? Is there a liner under their coal pile? What other wastes are they creating and how are they disposed of? Is the air quality in their workplaces meeting OSHA? Is there danger of a dust explosion?
