Let it go, Fox.  It's like trying to teach a pig to sing.

I talked with a friend of ours who has lived near there for many years and she said her son and daughter both suffered chronic asthma especially on overcast humid days. Now i have plenty of health issues but cannot imagine suffering near suffocation due to asthma. Too-she says, when ever they are not in town visiting the asthma isn't chronically significant. If being born and reared near there had anything to do with it probably cannot be proved, but perponderance does point to that probability. They are not jumping on that lawsuit regardless. I don't know about all the finer points in this but it does seem to me that the least they should do is a better job of filtering if it is that bad. 

You say they should do a better job of filtering - that is exactly why they are building a 100+ million dollar dryer. I am sure that the date of completion is probably at least a couple of years away, but it appears that clam and/or the plaintiffs in the lawsuit think that their actions will make it happen sooner.

I believe that the real "thinking" is:

1. The lawyers:  $$$$$$$

2. The liberals pushing this:  Anti capitalism.  The more people they can put on the dole, the more vote for lefties.

3.  The others going along:  foolishness and naivety.
