As you undoubtedly read, those "requirements above" are not yet law or amendments, only proposals.

However, there are current laws that apply to "citizens"  whose both parents were not citizens.

So, please clarify, why did you give us all this worthless information?

After the obumbler is perp walked out of the oval office, these proposals may very well become "law".

It is not about "old english law".  It is all about our constitution, the expressed intent of our founding fathers, and the subsequent amendments to the constitution.

The current pro obumbler argument, as I understand it, is that he qualifies as a "citizen" because he was born in Hawaii, not because his mother was a citizen.

But...there is a big difference between a "citizen", and a "natural born citizen":

What is a Natural Born Citizen of the U.S.?

Synopsis

by John Greschak

In the essay titled What is a Natural Born Citizen of
the United States?
, I have put forward an interpretation and definition

I have examined Merriam-Webster's a
From this interpretation and these
factors, I have established the following necessary and sufficient conditions
for one to be a natural born Citizen of the United States:
Necessary and Sufficient Conditions. A given person is a
natural born Citizen of the United Statesif and only if:
  1. The person was born in the United States,
  2. Both parents of the person were Citizens of the United States when that
    person was born, and
  3. The person has been a Citizen of the United States, since
    birth.

John McCaine was born in Panama and George Romney was born in Mexico and yet both were allowed to run for President of the United States without a lot of questions and nonsense even though both would fail by the requirements above.

Okay

I have to admit he's not my choice of leader and that I spent very little time on this issue, because I always felt it didn't matter where the boy was given birth. I spoke with a couple educators better skilled at constitutional law than I and they both say the same thing. There isn't any such law backed constitutionally that says his mother's citizenship isn't obvious and that the founding father's of this GREAT nation took a few things for granted especially when refuting -The Laws Of merry Old England- vs the new US ideal. It would be hard to get any court in the land to toss out his citizenship based on the fact that his father wasn't a citizen. Oh lets say he died long before the boy was born or wasn't in the picture at all, or she was raped, and perhaps immaculately conceived. The donation of his seed could very well have been any one of the men right here or anywhere else in the world. She is what made the difference.---Toss a coin guys-- then read the news paper announcing his Hawaii birth, the official record of the hospital he was born in, the memories of family and friends, the official forms of live birth and then take a look at the twin towers as they fell. Bush didn't conspire that one either. The magnitude of such a conspiracy to hide the birth of that baby just isn't foreseeable nor is itintelligently argued any longer. I still think the might of the GOP would have been able to clear this up LONG ago. Besides, it took the witness of McCain to quell the muslim story during 08.
