Uh, oh, NEDL.
Just heard Marcia Lense on the noon news report that the US Consumer Products Safety Commission is reporting that new information released in today's Pool Safely: Simple Steps Save Lives campaign, shows that 90 children younger than 15 were reported to have drowned in swimming pools since Memorial Day.
According to media reports, an additional 106 children of that age required emergency response for near-drowning incidents.
BTW; I wonder how that poor nobama will feel if he does get re-elected? Can't you just imagine what he and all the libs are gonna have to say about the mess he will be inheriting?
You mean the ongoing disaster caused by his predecessors that would always be the case no matter who won last election? Sure, we can all see that if that's what you mean.
In spite of our disagreeable banter at times---
I must stand in your camp on this issue. That's 45 children's needless deaths per month,. and not one single cry to stop the madness of legal swimming. The injuries of another 100-plus and the potential for thousands more by years end, make swimming and boating the most heinous of random acts of senseless deaths of children, their families and. friends. It might help put much of this gun banning madness into perspective if everyone knew the statistics of all the loss of life in this :Peirce Morgan: -Moddn America- via so many venues of death and dismemberment. Not to mention the tens of thousands of deaths caused by cell phone, tobacco and alcohol use. It seems the easiest way to make noise is to blame one aspect of violence and the tool used by some who would do that. This is and was a tragedy as were the----- soooo many other non-gun related deaths in this country not to mention the world. It's odd to me that no one cries to ban anything relTED TO ALL THE OTHER SENSELES DEATH IN THIS COUNTRY that have no constitutional support not to ban them. We have the greatest series of documents in legal strength ever written---- by any nation on earth but for some odd reason so many actually think it doesn't matter unless it directly affects their rights. Then by God it would be hands off the constitution.
I cannot abide that sort of rationale.
