At least the NRA interviews the candidates, and attempts to determine who will support the NRA's views the most. They rate Democrats and Republicans. They give their support to whomever they feel is their best candidate for their interests.
The NFIB does nothing, just endorses Republicans. This was told to me by the main person who sends the money to the candidates. If you look closely, you will see the NFIB contributions you give aren't even deductible as donations.
Apparently, you don't know how to look closely because they have three unitary foundations within, whose donations to are tax-deductible. The NFIB itself is non-profit, just like AARP.
