What The Hell is Wrong with Detroit?!

Detroit News reported: Detroit’s crime crisis is prompting such pessimism that nearly 40 percent of its residents plan to move away from the city within the next five years, according to a comprehensive poll of Detroiters’ attitudes about their city and leadership. What the Hell is Wrong with Detroit?! Currently the Detroit metropolitan area has a population of approximately 5.2 million residents. If 40 percent of them were to leave that would mean that roughly 2,080,000 people would be leaving the city. Is a population drop that significant going to be a good thing, or a bad thing for Detroit?

Recently Detroit Law Enforcement rallied at Comerica Park saying “Enter At Your Own Risk”.

Economically speaking, Detroit has been one of the worst effected major cities in the country since the economic recession began. Not only has unemployment been statistically higher in the city than the rest of the country, but the real estate market has turned into one of the worst disasters around. At one point, houses up for auction were not even selling fro their minimum starting bid of just a few dollars!

Oh fiddlesticks.  Fact is I just can't remember whether I'm drug-riddled or just addle-brained.  Since my life threatening lung infection that just happened to coincide with TP and Mals absence from this board, I just haven't been the same.  I had one of those male nurses.  Now his mother was a female, and his dad was a male, and he sure did look like a girl, but figured since he had one of each as a parent he was due the choice of which to be.  Why she chose male I'll never know, but I surely did get a kick out of watching him/her try to pee standing up.  Never could quite seem to get that bathroom door shut all the way.

Anyway, Robert snuck me in some a nice Chianti and we whooped it up on election night, although I must say that a fine wine through an IV isn't nearly the ambient pleasure of sipping through a straw. 

Now then, once again.  It was Bushs fault.  Frank and Dodd had nothing to do with it.
