Muscatine

It's baffling to me how a total failure such as Obama can sell himself to 50% of the public.  He promised to unite.  Instead, he has become the most divisive figure in Amercian political history.  He promised that if he didn't have the economy fixed in three years, that he should go.  He did neither.  He promised to lower the deficit.  Instead, he spends at a pace unseen in history and our kids, grandkids and beyond will still be paying him off long after we're gone.  He has two scandals, Libya and Fast and Furious, which would have been grounds for immediate impeachment for any other president, but our media chooses to give him a free pass.  While it used to be a badge of honor to be successful in our country, he has tried to make it evil.  He promises to make the masses more and more dependent on government, but it's seen as charity. 

We will get through this, although I fear that there will be damage that will take generations to heal.   

 It is certainly difficult to understand that over 50% of folks who voted do not understand that the only money that govt has is TAXPAYER MONEY - your money. When the govt gives that away in the form of handouts - food stamps, welfare, phones and all the other breaks promised and/or delivered, then the govt must get even more money from where - TAXPAYERS - you know -  us! Except for the trillions of dollars the govt is borrowing from China to pay for buying stuff like solyndra, general motors and the like. But not to worry about THAT - that can be paid off by our grandchildren and their grandchildren - it is more important to give folks their free 'stuff'. So when you promise more stuff you need more taxes from those TAXPAYERS. Do not peek around the corner or it will scare the pants right off you. All those taxes in obamacare plus the huge fiscal cliff we are heading for at a rapid pace mean even more money out of our paychecks. It must be the fault of the school system who did not teach these people how govt works.
