What is the proper response of a true conservative to hurricane Sandy?

Check all that apply.

1. (  )  Send a generous contribution to the Red Cross and other non-profits who are helping.

2. (  )  Be glad we have government programs to deal with this and they are there to help.

3. (  )  Be thankful your tax dollars are being used for a good cause.

4. (  ) Go to the affected area and personally help.

5. (  ) Urge your elected representatives in government to increase the budget for FEMA, and other government agencies that are helping.

6. (  ) Advocate for measures to slow global warming.

7. (  ) Call on the government to build protective barriers to block storm surges.

8. (  ) Demand the government enact stricter design and construction standards for electric lines.

9. (  ) Ask the government to enforce more stringent design codes for housing construction.

10. (  ) Bitch and complain the government isn't doing enough.

Who is the judge of what is a  "proper response" - you? I think NOT! Unless you are one of the victims of this horrendous natural event you have no idea of what a "proper response" entails. When you make information available either thru the internet or a phone line and folks have no electricity how do they access the info - carrier pigeon? There has been a severe lack of response - proper or otherwise -to this situation. It is wonderful that you can sit in your dry living quarters with access to utilities and you purport to judge what might be a "proper response". Walk a mile in THEIR shoes.

Oops, I got you guys mixed up.   Sorry.   You all sound so much alike it's hard to keep things straight.

So this is what you think the proper response to hurricane Sandy should be when the media asks about it?   A stern lecture about asking but no response to the issue.

I'm thinking of the conservative politrician's response.

I didn't claim to know what a proper response should be.   I asked  anybody that would like to comment and gave some suggestions which I thought might agree with your positions based on past writings.   I also threw in a few a Liberal might use.   I expected you to sort them out and add to them if you chose to tell me how a true conservative should respond.

Yeah, well we keep expecting you to pull your head out of your arse, but sometimes things that you '"expect" to happen just don't happen.

Yes, I would give a stern lecture if the media asked that stupid question and those equally stupid choices for replies.

So if you claim you do not know what a proper response should be why did you compose such an assinine post? There are no liberal or conservative responses to a tragedy of the magnitude that devastated the eastern seaboard. There are only responses that will provide immediate relief to those affected.

Your post was not intended for legitimate answers and then you bitch because you did not get legitimate answers. You are one sorry excuse for a human.

I didn't "claim to not know".   I said I "didn't claim to know".

Improve your reading ability and interpretative skills.

Those two statements are not equivalent.

I think that is something that prevents you from knowing what the hell is going on in the world.
