I know the NRA and a lot of gun nuts would like to see this story off the news.   It doesn't help their image.    But I think you should all be forced to watch it every day until some meaningful process is in place to prevent it happening again.

Has the NRA said anything about it yet.   Like maybe as little as we're sorry too.   I'm waiting for their propsal to stop it.

I didn't say to take the story off the news. I said for the media to leave Newtown. The media does not need to be in Newtown to report the story. It's what electricity is for.

Dear Mal...

You are cordially invited to walk down the streets of Chicago, no particular date but try to make it after dark.  Please dress nicely.  Nice jewelry would be a plus.  Carry a nice sized purse.  And please remember, Illinois is a no-carry state so do not have a weapon.  Maybe you could wear a little sign that says "Hi.  I'm Mal.  I'm unarmed", kind of like those "No Firearms Zones" signs on the banks that always seem to get robbed.

Please let us know how that goes.

Your friend,

The Fox

I'll never understand how a brain works, that thinks by making yourself as helpless as possible you'll be safer.

Or how a brain can think why the NRA should apologize for anything.

Automobiles kill far more people every day than guns. By using Mal's criteria, we should be blaming the AAA and demanding whatever goes through a liberal mind.
