I know the NRA and a lot of gun nuts would like to see this story off the news. It doesn't help their image. But I think you should all be forced to watch it every day until some meaningful process is in place to prevent it happening again.
Has the NRA said anything about it yet. Like maybe as little as we're sorry too. I'm waiting for their propsal to stop it.
The one person who was pivotal in this unspeakable horror was the mother who was witnessing the mental decline of this young man, yet purchased weapons and ammo and did not secure them in the home. That person was his own mother and she was rewarded with gunshots to the face.
That's one result of making guns easily available to just about everyone. Some are bound to fall into the hands of irresponsible people.
