The Pawtucket City Council has lifted the ban on liquor licenses , now many establishments are seeking the ability to sell liquor. We can vertainly understand the reason the city council has done this, sales of liquor is very taxable. I for one do no think making Pawtucket look like Central Falls with a bar on every corner is the answer to our money issues. The Woodlawn Neighborhood is opposing a liquor license for Rose's kitchen on Main St, they are voting May 6th at the Council meeting and WE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD at 6:45. Please join us there to help keep our neighborhoods quiet, clean and safe. If we do not speak up, we will not be heard!

Great opportunity to speak up whether you are for or against...but we do not need bar alleys to remember Pawtucket anywhere!

We do not need the bar crawls here...especially in people neighborhoods.

Do the police really enforce the ones here?

I believe any tax revenue recieved from the added sales of liquor would be eclipsed by the drain on our Police, Fire and Rescue departments servicing the late night calls of brawls, public intoxication, drunk driving & trespassing /property damage in our neighborhoods.
