Northeast Colorado Springs Neighborhood Association

I have lived in Briargate for 6 years, but am new to the Fairfax area. I found out about this site at the meeting last night. I am very impressed with the work that the Association has been doing.
The back of my home faces Powers. I have been told many different stories from the builder and neighbors regarding what is proposed along Powers. I would appreciate any informaton on what is in the works. I was told that nothing could be built between the back of my home and Powers. I hope that this still holds true. I also wonder what will be across the other side.

Sorry that I have not had time recently to try to answer some questions.

The Powers extension project is under way to connect Woodmen and Research. It is supposed to be complete sometime this fall--about October. The connection to Briargate Parkway will be dependent on the completion of the Parkway down to Lexington.
