North Creek Village

I have questions

Posted in: N Creek Village

Well, I'm guessing you are one of the many people that is not paying and that is certainly your choice (although I'm pretty sure it is a legal obligation). However, the HOA does go for your water use. I know the bill is not up to date, but it is still your responsibility to pay for the water you use, just like it is Almost Home's job to then pay that bill. I'm simply stating that we should all hold up our end of the bargain.

Paul - This is Pam with Almost Home in KC.  Please feel free to call me and we can discuss your issues and questions.  Thanks.  913-514-4663.  Pam

In response to your response:

Dogs are allowed, but there are some restrictions.  Please call Pam concerning your questions at Almost Home in KC, 913-514-4663

As for fences, the fences do need to be approved by the HOA.  Not all fences are approved, not most wood fences are.  You need to submit your plans.

As for the city plowing the streets, not true.  There is a contractor that takes care of the snow removal on the streets.

As for the fertilization, there was not a contract signed last year.  This is just a part of the service that the HOA takes care of each year.

Thanks again for the oppurtunity to clear things up.

Our snow removal was done by a contracted firm this year, who did a great job for us this year.  He is also a resident.  The City is not obligated to plow the property, and as such, we cannot depend on them doing it.  They did come through some this year, but the majority was done by our contractor.

For the record, fertilization and weed/feed programs have been done every year since I have been involved.

As far as "Almost Home has done nothing but take our money....."  I am sure you see that the lights have been paid, there have been payments on the water (although there is a significant balance due), the gas has been paid, the insurance has been paid, the lawn care has been paid (both mowing and fertilization), the lots have been brush hogged, the clubhouse is still open, the pool was open (although for a short season), etc.

Even when homeowners are behind in dues, bills are being paid with money that is coming in.

I hope to see all of you at the meeting on Thursday, and a great discussion about the future of the HOA at North Creek.  Thanks!  Pam
