I'm looking at buying a home in your neighborhood. I've driven through it and I like what I see. But $145 extra a month to move there is a lot of extra money. Is the HOA still active? What do I get for my $145, or however much it currently is? I've read all the existing posts, but they are old, and there seemed to be a lot of money disputes. Are management and homeowners still in dispute? Is there any talk of changing the HOA dues, for the good or bad?

did you find anything out? there is a home i have had my eye on as well but the hoa is the deterent.

I as well have been looking at some homes in North Creek Village. I cannot find any CURRENT information regarding the HOA however. My attempts to contact the management company (Curry Management) have gone unanswered (which doesn't speak well for them or the HOA which I'm assuming hired them).

This extremely high HOA seems to be the reason property values are so depressed in this neighborhood, however if things ever clear up with the management company and HOA it seems values would go up significantly. Driving through the subdivision I cannot for the life of me see what $145/month is going toward. The streets aren't freshly paved, the lawns are all dead, the clubhouse is tiny and seems to be always closed with no contact info posted. How are people that want to buy here supposed to find anything out prior to purchasing. I wonder if the pool is even open in the summer? I've also heard a rumor that the water bill is also routed through the HOA on top of your monthly dues.

I hope someone from the Association, Management company or at least a homeowner that cares enough about their neighborhood can lend some pertinent information regarding these issues.

I looked at some other posts and one says the HOA may even be going up and the pool was closed all summer last year. I own a lawn mower amd snow blower so that isnt much incentive to my family if there is no pool to use. Maybe this is why so many houses are for sale.
