Just FYI, a woman and her son were in the creek this afternoon, around 5pm, they came out with something in a large ziploc bag, they were driving a tan mazda minivan, license 3XVY074 or 3XVY704.

I think it's great you are keeping an eye out on the area. I guess the mother and son were collecting food... but it may have been drugs?

It is a city misdemenor to trespass into the Wetlands area. If you see someone there please call the police (non-emergency) and ask them, if they have someone available to please go to the Wetlands area and cite the violator.

I'll tell the police Captain about this too.
