explain budget items better

What is the 2,200 electricity for? Our property taxes are paying for the street lights. Do we need to pay this much to light our nondistinct sign? What is the 5,500 insurance for? Insure what? This amount would pay the annual insurance on a dozen homes. Or could it be for the clubhose/swimming pool/tennis courts I've yet to locate. For 8,500 landscaping, I could turn my small lot into a botanical garden. Concerning the trash can problem, if we were allowed to place a small modern storage building on the back corner of our lot, we could store our trash cans and lawn equipment there instead of the garage allowing us to use the garage to park our cars so the neighborhood wouldn't look so much like a used car lot. This isn't Brentwood but we may be able to brag about having one of the more expensive entrances.

explain budget items better?????

You were absolutely on target!! We bought here 18 months ago. I watched this nighborhood for 3 solid years trying to decide if I wanted to buy here. It has looked exactly the same all of this time except for our newly built area (which by the way we were built around very tightly on 3 sides AFTER we purchased this lot). I have never heard of being responsible for the common areas or ever increasing FEES except in condos. Besides this scam how could there possibly be a $30,000 increase over a 3 year period. By the way, isn't it interesting how all of a sudden we FINALLY have a newly replaced lightbulb at the entrance?? Who wants to boycott this atrocity and we can vote to rotate the changing of the lightbulb and cut the common area grass. I am livid about this and intend to find out my legal rights, I did not purchase the whole friggin neighborhood I thought We had a right to buy a plot and house and live in it. WE NEED to vote this mess out of our neighborhood. /This is NOT justified, we need to petition a boycott.Dead Serious Pam
