Just recently, I attended a party for my sister-in-law that we held at the bar in Dots. All was well and we had a good time shooting pool, darts, and singing Karaoke. Later on that night, after the alcohol had been flowing, my sister-in-law's district Manager, who is ''haole'', went up to the bar to buy us some drinks. (Let's call him Rick) The bar was pretty crowded with their so-called ''regulars'', so Rick tried to squeeze his way through. One of the gentleman at the bar turned and start yelling at and degrading Rick because he thought that Rick was pushing him. Rick apoligized and explained that there is no room for him to try and place an order. That regular then started to really make a scene. So Rick told the bartender to forget the order and that he was leaving so please close out his tab. After gathering his belongings, he attemted to leave the bar with my brother walking with him. By then, all the regulars were blocking the door and trying to get Rick to fight. So we then went to try and break everything up peacefully so we could go back and enjoy the party. Well, they would not have it that way. We finally got fed up and started having words with the regulars and the bartenders. The bartenders weren't any help at all. I am a Manager, and I know that you need to put your foot down when things get out of hand. He should have asked theses people to leave, but they just stood there saying, ''come on folks, this is a family bar, a ''community'' bar.'' I then said, ''oh yeah, well I am a part of this community and have been for years.'' I am now very disappointed and ashamed to be a part of the community. To make a long story short, we ended up leaving after ''we'' called the police, and put a disappointing end to my sister-in-law's party. She was very sad, and vows never to go back there again. The thing about it is, when the Police came, they told the group of people, ''not you again!'' This really discourages me to go there again. Am I going to be the only one? Is anything going to be done? You know what they say, if someone experiences bad service, this person goes on to tell 10 people about it. These people then go on to tell 10 more people each, and so on and so forth...
