In case anyone is interested, I have learned through discussions that not only has Dave Bart quit as president of the association, but no plows have been secured for this season NOR HAVE ANY FINANCIAL STATEMENTS BEEN PROVIDED FOR ANY DUES THAT HAVE BEEN COLLECTED THUS FAR. I don't know how the rest of the community feels but I am outraged at the lack of communication and reporting that has come from this. This is completely unacceptable and irresponsible. I don't know what the next steps are, but I can assure you this is not over.
I'm very concerned about this. I know he has personal matters going on, but I'm worried about the Association dues. There's been no audit and no disclosure that I know of. I know Dave is involved in the Claymont Business Assoc. also. I want to see a full disclosure of the association account for the past 6 years. I want to I. Was President of my former neighborhood association. I took it from 10% membership to 91%. Monthly newsletter with financial statement enclosed. I have no reason to believe finances are afoul, but I don't understand why that data has never been disclosed in the newsletter. If he resigned the position in Dec, why wasn't that disclosed? Jim
I understand your concerns, but what position do you hold in the civic association? If any. Have you helped out in anyway? Over the past 10 years I have either see the same people at the meetings or none at all. Maybe you should join and take over the treasury duty and get an audit done!?

Hello This is Dave Bart and I am sorry that I have left you feeling as I have quit or left the Northridge Civic Association. I am still the active and current president, we are still having the roads plowed and I welcome any and all support to continue to keep Northridge a place that is different then the rest. I will have a newsletter out in early March and we are looking for help, block captains, dues and fundraisers and picnic and new ideas and energy. I can be reached at my cell 302-690-3898 or email davebart20@aol.com.
