1991-1992 Organized and drafted bylaws, appointed committees and improve SR #580 appearance.
1991-1993 Contracted for cutting grass and repairing fences at a cost of $6,575 for improvements during the first three years.
1922-1994 Traffic study conducted, amount of cut-through traffic, etc. Bill Beavers filed the report with the City traffic department.
1994-1995 SR #580 was widened and due to the efforts of several members, D.O.T. agreed to give NWHA credit for handrail if a wall was built. D.O.T. contributed $26,000, and 116 members contributed approximately $26,950, the balance of the cost of the wall and signs. Members along SR #580 contributed a substantial amount and the land on which the wall was built.
1996. New sign for Enterprise entrance erected. 59 members paid $25 for the sign, which costs $1,702.
1998-1999 Traffic calming meetings with City and adjacent subdivisions held. We were the first in the area to receive traffic calming. The 1992-1994 traffic study report supported our claim that we needed traffic calming. Plans were approved by the City Council after approximately 50 members testified at the Council meeting on the need for traffic calming. Construction was completed in 1999 at a cost of $175,000 in Northwood West and $43,000 in Northwood Estates.
2000. Second new sign at Enterprise entrance erected; cost $1,750.
2004 Cleaned mold off brick wall on SR #580.
2005 Set goal to improve appearance of Enterprise entrance.
