  The original AP story did not  mention Kenya.   It was added later by some mischief maker.   You'll note he/she mispelled Obama's first name in the process.   AP doesn't do that.

  Snopes.com says you can still find the original AP story on the internet using lexisnexis.    I didn't bother, but go ahead.

  I think the version you got is after it passed through the horse. 

The original AP version is also available from several other newspaper's archives, without the Kenya reference.

Now there is an absolute if I ever saw one! The AP does not mispell words or names?
