I am a home owner in Old Mill Court and I live on Harbinger Ln. in the little townhomes area. There is a big spot of land with grass and trees off of Harbinger and Kelly Blvd. that I see a lot of people playing with thier dogs off leash. Sometimes a dog will run in front of my car and I have to stop suddenly. As a devoted animal lover, I am thinking that part of land would make and awesome dog park. I would be willing to chip in funding to build a fence around it and purchase trash cans for the dog waste to go in. This way dogs will not run in front of cars on Kelly and on Harbinger. If not a dog park, how about a comunity swimming pool for those many hot summer days? How about something there for the community to use without cutting down the trees? I vote for dog park even though I prefer swimming pool the most. My reasoning is b/c I see most people using it as a dog park. Would anyone else be willing to vote on this part of land being used a a dog park for the Old Mill Court residents? Would you pitch in some $$ too? Let me know please.

I would love a community swimming pool!!

A dog park would in my opinion be a much better option, since the addition of a pool would raise our HOA dues quite a bit higher.

Smile I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a comunity pool too. So much I dream of having a pool around here to use with all of our back yards being too small to put up even a small above ground family pool. It's costing me a lot more money to go to a public pool most summer days but that is what I am doing for now. I would also love to see dogs safe in that area but there is a plot of open land in front of the Grove Apartments that they could build a pool on for us to use in Old Mill court. Right? We should have both. Apartment resisdents get a pool yet small house owners don't? Seems odd to me.
