Known by your company
Its funny how a posting starts out and where it wonders from different people reading the message. You would think we are all speaking different languages.
I for one am very concerned about returning to the past with the likes of McAuliffe and DeMastry. These two convicted felons didn't get to where they were on their own. They were enabled by probably a huge group of people that supported them and helped them get elected. I know when DeMastry was indicted there was concern by his former supporters that he was getting railroaded. Some of the comments that I heard alarmed me and should alarm everyone. Then in Judge McAuliffe's case he testified that he was high and under the influence of alcohol while he was on the bench. Who was selling him the drugs? How as a drug dealer do you approach a Judge and offer him pot or cocaine? My point is that others down at the courthouse had to know what was going on behind the scenes and chose to keep it quite. Mr. Fox was Chairman of the party and chose to do nothing.
Maybe Rita is right that Kathy Mowery is an upstanding citizen and that she is honest. If that be the case then why is she now enabling someone like Brian Fox and giving him the chance to ride back into power on her good reputation?
I do not know Kathy Mowery or Laura Smith. I also do not know much about the legal profession and the qualifications. I also have noticed that Laura Smith signs are appearing in front of attorney offices and their homes. They seem by their sign placement to be endorsing Laura Smith over Kathy Mowery. I also suspect that many of these same attorneys knew what was going on behind the scenes with Judge McAuliffe prior to his indictment and were limited in their comments do to their cannons of ethics. I also remember that Brian Fox asked and or pressured Pat Harris to drop out of the race when he was challenging Don McAuliffe in their primary two years ago. Along with that I visited the county courthouse and Mike Kiger had posted a sign opposing Judge Harris and was supporting McAuliffe. The fact remains in politics you are known by the company you keep.
If Kathy Mowery is as good as you say Rita, then I would advise you to tell her to drive up Diley Road and have her move her signs away from the others that support and promote criminals in office.
