Pickerington Area Taxpayers Alliance

Topic of the YEAR

My Reply, part 2

Before posting this I checked the PATA email account. No one has sent an email offering to create a newsletter whether it is to be posted on this site or delivered door-to-door. No one. I am not going to create a newsletter. I don?’t know but I doubt Coyote is going to create a newsletter. If you want a newsletter, please go ahead and create one and email it to us so we can have the facts verified and the sources confirmed and then we can openly debate to publish it.

I?’ll offer this up to anyone who wants to think about it. If you desire the calendar section to be kept updated, contact us and we can offer you the ability to maintain it. If you want to create a newsletter and publish it here, like I said, go for it. If you want PATA taken down for good, convince the nearly 74,000 viewers of the site from January ?– March to voice their opinion.

If you don?’t like Pickerington, please feel free to move or try to change it. If you don?’t like PATA feel free to stop coming here or try to change it. If you don?’t like the anonymity of PATA, post your name and reasons. If all you want is for PATA to die, I can assume that you were once one of its biggest supporters and things just aren?’t going the way you want them to. Without a name to attach to PATA you can?’t peddle your influence like you undoubtedly have done in the past to get your way. You?’re now just a little fish in a big pond.

Note to the poster who was talking about financial contributions to PATA - speaking for myself and myself only, this site is free of cost. Since we don?’t have to pay for anything we don?’t need to solicit for anything. I don?’t want your money. And until a face does appear under the PATA emblem, I would suggest you wait to talk to them about finances in the future.

Note to the poster who suggests there are only a dozen posters to the site ?– there are over 130 registered accounts that can post to this site. That number is up 30% since the Looney Toons brigade took over.

Note to same ?– ?“Bob and Co.?” ARE all over the big box issue you fool. Didn?’t you attend the zoning meeting? Did you not look into the eyes of all those attending? The ?“Co.?” was there in full force and in greater numbers that ever before. It is through the efforts of people like Bob and groups like PATA that people have become emboldened and more active in community issues before they happen and as they are happening rather than Monday morning quarterbacking.
