I don't believe the district is required to bus high school students that live within 2 miles of the school. I'm not sure what the requirement is for Jr. High students. And, I'm not sure if the PLSD uses the 2 mile rule or relaxes it to 1 mile. Jr. High and High school students ride the same busses. Some high school students drive to school. I'm not sure how full the busses are, but it may be misleading if they're not on some routes/days as some students participate in after school activities and others may choose to get rides on some days.
