Disappointed in reading

what a kudo

I guess the state, who so screwed up the funding formulas in the first place, has chosen our report as a model...is that a good thing? Maybe not when you think about it.
The report

Ok your report says portable classrooms should be used but part of the levy campaign was aimed at replacing the portables.

The it says they aim for a senior class of 500 seniors. Yet we design two high schools of 1,800 students.

Then what is with the 1,200 projection for the third High School?

In the Report

As stated in the report, we designed the 3rd high school for 1200 initially with a designed, pre-installed infrastructure for another 600 when needed. That way we didn't over build.

And I disagree that the state screwed up the funding. The courts did that. What the state should have done is rewrite the constitution stating it is the responsibility of the local districts and the counties to see that a ''fair and equitable'' education is available. I strongly disagree that the state or federal government have any business whatsoever (with the exception of the GI Bill and DOD military base schools overseas) involving themselves in education. They just screw it up. Even the Teacher's Union is referring to ''No Child Left Behind'' as ''No Child Gets Ahead''. If a local district isn't willing to live up to its responsibilities then people will abandon it. If they don't care then they willingly choose to subject their posterity to ignorance, poverty, crime and superstition.

This is hopeless

It is apparent that no matter what is suggested by me or anyone else the suggestions no matter how sincere will fail on deaf ears and get a response that gets us no where.

When we are using comments that the Public still does not understand then you idiots are not communicating your message very well. The simple fact is that I am further disappointed in the school board members especially the newer ones who we had so much hope for. They have closed minds and they refuse to accept they may not have the answers.

Clearly this Board commission was put there group to just put in writing their strong desire to go for state funding and now claim all of this is mandatory. Suggesting maybe that they reconsider that decision will get insults and outrage from the board.

The sad part is we will continue to have issues with passing bond issues because our schools refuse to face the truth and address the problems.

Did any of you dumb asses ever think you were wrong? I am tried of listening to your crap and I will vote no from here on out no matter how serious you claim the problem is and that includes the renewal levies. The situation with this board is hopeless.
