Profanity
Profanity cannot be tolerated on this message board. Any reasonable person can get his or her point across without resorting to it. I am shocked and appalled that anyone, particularly the elected official who posts as ''Power Walker'', would demean himself and us in such a manner. TH, your writing style is obvious to all of us who pay attention. Tone down the insults. Continue to vote ''no'' if you want. You get what you vote for. In this case, you'll get nothing and deserve it. By Shocked and Appalled |

Clarification
A couple of things I'd like to mention, as I also sat on the Facilities Committee. 1. The BOE has NOT adopted this report - they have stated there are pieces that they don't agree with. 2. Time line is not carved in stone - it has to be elastic and will flex with enrollment. 3. The BOE has stated at subsequent Board Meetings that they do not support building a third high school until both North & Central are expanded upon. That is why the second site for an elementary location is not at the North site. Central would need a separate HVAC & some other systems to support more square footage but it's possible. The school was value engineered in order to get that ''over the top'' school built & the outside ''skin'' was changed to get something the community would accept. 4. There are additional differences but these are the ones that seem pertinent to this posting. 5. While you may not like the make up of the FRC Committee it was open to the public - it's too bad that people like to be Monday morning quarterbacks but when they have the opportunity to participate they decline but aren't satisfied with the results. Humm
That's not how I remember it nor is it my interpretation of the BOE resolution last September but no matter. I've spent way too much time and money on this issue over the last two years and I've had enough. I wish you the joy of your bargain. By Any Mouse |
