wrong time

If you go at 7:45 am, nobody will be there...except a few teachers...Elementary starts at 8:45am., this is the third bus run through the neighborhoods...thats right three times one neighborhood.

Junior High Starts at 7:20 HS at 7:30 Middle School at 8:10 Elementary at 8:45...just so that you can use the same busses more than once and burn up all of that gas. There may be a point where it is cheaper to buy more busses, do one run versus doing three runs and logging all of that milage.

They still don't pay the bills

My point didn't deal with the need for the space, but rather the comment on getting a bunch of high school seniors with voting rights to help provide the votes needed to pass the levy. I have an issue with a strategy that targets a group of voters to vote yes yet who do not have to pay for the resulting tax increase.

If the bond levy is placed on the ballot in August or November, this is a moot point, since there will be very few 18-year-old seniors.

Young and not bitter

Sounds like Old and lovin' would like to narrow the field of those allowed to vote for property tax levies.

Nobody 18 or older who lives with family.
Apartment dwellers.
Renters in general.

Basically, unless you're old and 'have put your kids through school' then he/she would really prefer you don't vote at all.
