Why so bitter against board

Just curious as to why so many people are upset with the school board. I worked on the last campaign and I found them to be dedicated and hard working. This is not the same board that was responsible for building the new high schools.

The schools are way over crowded and we need new ones. What we spend per kid in district compared to others is very competitive. Our schools do a good job. What am I missing?
