Flawed survey

Two question survey

Something doesn't add up with the 30 question community survey.59% would vote for a $39 million bond issue while 60% would vote for a $62 million bond issue. Using that logic, would 70% agree to a $100 million bond issue? Looks like some folks need to review Econ 101.How about a realistic 2 question survey that goes like this: Does anyone in their right mind believe these numbers? Do you think surveys are a waste of time and money? Bet we could come close to 90% on both questions.

ECON 101

This is in response to Lin who posted ''Something doesn't add up with the 30 question community survey.59% would vote for a $39 million bond issue while 60% would vote for a $62 million bond issue.'' It does makes sense if a person was asked each question seperately ''would you vote for a $39 million bond'', then ''would you vote for a %62 million bond''. You could actually end up with 100% for each question. Now what were you saying about Econ 101? I assume you meant STATS 101 and just mispoke.
