It appears that the forces of the City are conspiring to take over the current council and replace the Fox and friends with new public officials willing to sell their souls for the fame and glory of higher office. I am afraid the same fate awaits them as did the previous group. We simply had it too easy these last 2 years folks. It may be time to fire up the activist that have faded into the woodwork the last two years to get everything back on track.
As told to me over a couple of adult beverages (can I say that here?)
It appears that Bill Yaple and his family farm are about to strike it rich. Bill's in-laws and family own around 900 acres in Northern Bloom Township and Southern Violet Township. They need access to US 33 and once the Fairfield County Engineer agrees to build them a bridge over the Little Walnut Creek they will start to build over 1,000 homes for the Canal school district.
With this big nest egg coming Bill Yaple will retire this winter. Then doing a monkey move up Terry Dunlap will be appointed the new Township Operations Director.
That leaves an opening for Terry and Gary to appoint the Mayor of the Township to serve out the remainder of Terry Dunlap's term. However the Mayor must deliver on selling the City down the river in his latest scheme of economic cooperation brokered by Jeff Fix. So the Mayor gets three more years with out running for election, Fix gets to pad his resume for his run for county commissioner and Heidi gets to be Mayor.
Fix already has the his hand picked candidates in the Northwest Club ready to run against Brian and Ted in 2007 because they will oppose giving the store away to the Township. I will mail the proof of that to the Webmaster tomorrow.
