Why can't we just get along?

I need to come to the defense of someone that I've never met...

Why do you feel the need to lash out at Tory Kramer for his stance of coopertion? Is it wrong to suggest that we make an attempt to find a common ground and work through differences? From what I read in his comments, it seems to me that all he is suggesting is that we find a way to work togther.

Anger, hatred and distrust has gotten us no where. I understand that is all you people that post to this site understand, but is that what we want from our elected politicians? What's next... fist fights in the streets?

I don't think it was lashing at all. the way I read it was that even good people like Tory can be coerced. Look at Christie Hammond. She was solidly with Ted and Brian on a lot of issues and now I hear she won't take or return a call from them or answer their emails. Just like that she flipped and doesn't have the decency to even talk to anyone to explain herself. I think the poster was just saying Tory was looking around the issues and focusing on people. That's not how it works in politics. You have to stick to the issues.
