Wait a minute
First, who told the Fix it crew to negotiate? Our lawyer Mayor? It starts at the top and trickles down. Didn't the city spend$20,000.00+ on this debacle? I guess the 3 guys who voted no have a lot less egg on their faces.
All we need now is a who's right and who's wrong debate between lawyers to put the cherry on top of this treat.

Four were at fault
Keep in mind that 3 council members did not vote on this agreement that it was the other 4 council members that pushed this through no matter what anyone including citizens had to say about it.
This the reason you now have citizens getting petitions signed to place the issue on the ballot. If the city officals can not manage the affairs of the city correctly the people have no choice but to take action.
In this case the coffee salesman, the computer programmer and the retired delivery driver were much smarter then the so called business professionals we have on council.

Wrong!?!?!?
SEVEN voted, not 4
Four voted yes and three voted no.
What I am saying is that the three should never have voted at all until the lawyers spent our money lawyer-ising the agreement.
That, my friend, would have said much more as to their stand than all the political grandstanding, pontificating and gerymandering that they ended up doing.

Now it is the council's turn
I understand that the citizen committee has received word that we have enough signatures on the initiative petitions to place the issue on the ballot. I further understand that council must pass the ordinance this evening by emergency to place it on the May ballot. That takes 6 votes so someone will need to give on this issue.
