No show to council?

Did anyone check if there were some 911 calls last night from the Mayors house? This latest screw-up by Mayor Moron has likely driven him close to the edge again.

Living in the Attic

I am wondering if this was just an innocent mistake by the Mayor. You don't suppose that in 2002 when Shaver cleared out the upper floors of his office to accommodate the Jeff Fix family so they could move in and he put the boxes of client documents in the ''unsecured'' garage and simply forgot about them. I know he has had problems with his memory maybe it is as simple as that.

Ever more curious

He thought that the records he put out in the dumpster were his own personal financial records.

Now tell me, would you put your personal financial records out to the curb in front of your house for three months if they weren't shredded or something?

I think we're stating to see a pattern of behavior here that is self destructive at best. This could have been an honest mistake as some claim, but I tend to not believe that given the elapsed time this took and the fact that he was contacted several times warning him that this information was there and needed to be dealt with.

I think what we are really dealing is a person who has no regard for public trust. This is being demonstrated in his public personna and now his professional personna. His personal personna has obviously suffered if you have seen or heard the transctipt of his run-ins with the police and his legendary emails.

He should resign. Maybe councilman Smith can handle things through the end of the year.

Great idea... Keith Smith as Mayor of Pickerington. Perhaps now he can finally start living up to some of those promises he made on to the senior citizens to lower taxes and create a better way of life.
