unsercured dumpsters
?“There were no reports of the trash being stolen.?” So client information was safe sitting in the alley for a week in an over flowing dumpster.
Now Dave wants to blame the people that found the client information and hold them accountable for HIS mistake and HIS irresponsibility. Clearly the new owner, the realtor and the previous owner called Dave and like normal wouldn?‘t he return their calls.
I think either Dave or one of his few supporters claims that ABC 6 NEWS has low ratings. I think the 10:00 PM broadcast on Fox 28 is one of the highest rated NEWS shows in Columbus. It is hard to believe that only two or three people in Pickerington watch the news because I have heard from more than that about the embarrassment the Mayor is to the City. Dave if this was just one incident then maybe we could call it a mistake., but you have created serial incidents. I know, you know this is serious and it could have a long lasting affect on your business but that is the risk one takes when they enter politics. For anyone running a business managing their risks is part of that business. Small corporations will incorporate just to limit their liability and protect the owner?’s level of risk. Hiring a shredder company to shred your documents would have only cost a couple of hundred dollars and that would have protected you from all of this controversy.
So the question here is; if the Mayor has so little regard for his client?’s information that he didn?’t double check the teenage boys (and maybe girls) hauling the boxes to the dumpster and chose to not minimize his personal and profession risks then how is he in dealing with the risks of the City. So if you are a developer or some body wanting to discuss in private with the Mayor an issue and you want it to remain confidential would you think this latest incident would have a detrimental affect on those kinds of talks? That is to say he actual meets with citizens and others to discuss the city issues. I hear there is a heavy layer of dust on his office furniture.
