Numbers

I never claimed the numbers were ADM (Average Daily Membership) - the numbers we use to calculate state contributions to budget. These numbers are based on total tested in a given year. You're right, my stoner friend - there is a disconnect between the two numbers.

Makes me wonder why they're fudging the numbers this way. We do it all the time in education. You should see how many times a kid's attendance per period is entered at RHS. It's all to look good on the report card.

I appreciate your thoughts on the subject. What experiences have you had in education, other than as a student? It seems like everyone on these boards has had a series of some real doosies between principals and superintendents.
