The city council would love to annex and move on. OH wait, the city manager who's interviewing in Westerville wasn't available, Fix the anti annexation CZAR with co-conspirators Shaver, Riggs and Smith, just how does the city annex anything? Results , not tactics now.

What's holding up an annexation on the border of Pickerington when the land owner has requested annexation?

It's not the township........How can it be? They can't stop a property owner from requesting to be annexed. A council vote is holding this up. This piece of land is surrounded by city, city if annexing would need to provide services - that doesn't seem unreasonable if the property becomes part of the city.

Are utilties the problem? Does the city not have capacity for a 3 acre commercial development? If that's the case there won't be much annexing of anything.

If this was going to be behind your home would you be for or against this happening?

The reason I posed the question is that this property should have never been zoned for a commercial use such as this so close to residential homes.

Development of any type needs to make sense and this one does not.

I do not see our taxes going down much once it does go through and with the township wanting us tax payers to pay for it to happen in the end we will not have gained anything.

I am waiting for the millions that was promised in the letter from the three that promised us millions in development and tax savings.

Don't take the bait
