Not sure where you got your information, but the entire football team was honored with a varisty letter. Many of the JV (most of which had fair amount of varsity time) did get letters but far from all of them did.

I'll correct my last posting...

The entire Tiger football team was NOT honored with a varsity letter. Many of the JV did not receive letters.

Guidelines

Generally, i feel that the established guidelines should be followed whether it's playing time or some level of achievement. A typical exception is to award letters to seniors whether requirements were met or not. Extending varsity letters to JV players who do not meet varsity playing time requirements does not make sense even if you are state runner-up.
