The Central Tiger Athletic Boosters are hosting a Texas Hold'em Tournament on October the 6th at 5PM. The event will be at Ridgeview Junior High on Hill Road and all proceeds go to the booster club.
This is a great event and in the past has been lots of fun for everyone. Come on out and support the Tiger athletes. Use the link below for more information.

Teaching our kids
Thanks for teaching our kids that the best way to earn money for their sports teams is to enable probable gabling addictions in the community.
Next year, maybe a crack party or snort your way to the top get together?

This is a fund raiser for Tiger athletics. No minors are admitted to the event. This is certainly not the first such event put on by a school district to raise money for their athletes, marching bands or other extra-curricular clubs. This is an alternative to having our kids going door to door selling cheese or wrapping paper.
Pickerington North has hosted bingo for months. I fail to see how a Texas Hold'em tournament is any different. A little known fact... The field house at Pickerington Central was built with fund raising dollars and not one cent of tax dollars.
This is a win-win situation.

Beats knocking on doors.
I'm in. I'll probably lose. I get the lesson my kid will learn is ''don't play poker.''
It's a good cause.
I hope the Central Mom isn't the hustler/card shark type... ;-)
