There You Go Again
As I remember it, the bond issue on Central isn't paid off yet either so everyone in the district is paying on both schools. Not to mention all the improvements and updates in the phyical plant at Central. If my memory is correct we've paid off the ''triplets'' (Pick, Violet, Fairfield ESs, Central is next followed by Tussing (feeding both Central and North tracks), North/Lakeview followed by the middle schools.
I'll check with Mr Utterback's office but I think that's right.
It looks to me like we're all in this together.

Stick to the subject
Any Mouse; you are correct about the bond issue for Central has not been paid off yet. However if you review some of the postings in this thread they mention when Central was built and when the bond for that building was finally passed they had dropped things like FOOTBALL STADIUMS. Yes we are all in this together and that is the point. One school was built at the minimum and the other school built to EXTREMES.
When you average that all out those in the Central district are not getting the same return on their tax dollars as those in the North district.
Burned at the polls by the voters over the debacle at North the Board has retreated to a position of NO facilities for the kids of Central making the situation worse for nearly half of the district. The board has refused to consider equal facilities like Lori Sanders promised us all to get the bond passed for North.
You or one of your anonymous friends have stated that OSFC will not fund half of a football stadium. Of course they won't if it is not on the approved Master Plan. That goes right back to the school board taking a new stadium completely off the table for Central EVER.
You folks on the board can't have it both ways. Either athletics and bands are important to the High Schools or they are not. Either do away with the athletics at both schools or make them equal. I think the parents and the taxpayers have been more than patience with the board over the last five or six years.
Where does the board stand on EVER building or refurbing Central/Tiger stadium? The silence has been the answer.
Any Mouse it was asked of you about the sales tax idea you proposed. When pressured you became silent. So how does a City, Township or school district collect sales taxes in Ohio? I have looked at the Ohio Revised Code and I find nothing. Since you are so close to the schools how is it done? Who administers the money once a sales tax is established? Will the proposal need to go through that entity? The county or state auditor is not going to turn public money over to a rag tag group passing a petition around.
Instead of changing the subject this time lets stay focused and see what you really know.

Great Night for Picktown Soccer
No need to stand outside the fence. Gate receipts were split evenly between the two schools.
