Criticism
When appropriate is fine, just for the sake of being mean spirited is uncalled for.
I wasn't there and I wouldn't vote for Heidi even if she was the only person on the ballot.
However, to be mean-spirited about the clean up day and her participation, even if just for PR, as well as Judy's is uncalled for.

I Agree
When people give up their own time to help on a common cause there is no need to act the way this poster is acting. I would not vote for Heidi and do not always agree with how the city manager handles the daily affairs of the city, but still no reason to put them down for what they are doing on their own time.
To the poster, what have you done today or yesterday that helped to improve our city? What issues have you stood up for or against that made a difference?
I would be interested to hear what you have done as you seemed to have a such a negative opinion of those that are out there.
Always easy to comment when you set in the cheap seats.

Cup O Joe
Giving up her Sunday. I seem to remember that there were others out there giving up their Sundays as well. I didn't see their picture on the front page above the fold.
I also remember a few months back the city volunteers were cleaning up the cemetery at 256 and 204. I didn't see Heidi or Judy at this clean up. They even had the police blocking off 256 for safety reasons.
The point here is that what I give to the community or charity or what issues I support never make the front page of ''This Week''. nor do I desire that they do. From a political standpoint I am very generous to those candidates that represent the values I stand for. I am also very generous to organizations like Food Banks, Salvation Army, and Meals on Wheels.
I even occasional volunteer at the schools.
Our Ms. Heidi is phony and the pictures says a thousand words. All beginning with Phony. The only reason she gave up her Sunday was for the photo op and she spent the rest of the afternoon at ''Cup O Joe's''

So quick to defend
You don't know if time was volunteered by the manager. Who knows if time off durung the future will be taken for working on a weekend. Sotry. Where there's smoke and mirrors, there's fire and make up.
