Don't think so.....
When the Board voted to buy new band uniforms for Central there were pages of minutes that showed the discussion. Why would North Football be different. How come no one wants to pick up the phone & ask North? |

Unused uniforms
I believe those band uniforms were bought for both North and Central for their ''JOINT'' Rose Bowl trip. I suspect that we have a lot of unused band uniforms sitting around the locker room of the Central band room that will never be used. |

Not exactly....
You got that wrong - the BOE purchased 233 band uniforms - same number they paid for when they opened North. Fact is we march around 180 kids so that's plenty. Lots of options were discussed & the Band Boosters went to the Board to get a loan to pay for the difference in uniforms from what they bought to what we wanted. We have a LOT of uniforms left over - that's true, but we won't have to replace so soon because we can rotate in & out. Can't say if it was a good or bad decision but it was our decision. The BOE made it work when we needed extra money to do it. By Tiger Band Parent |
