Here's what's next

When it comes time to vote on the issue, she can still have her say then, dragging out the meetings. Then there can be newspaper articles with her name in them. And we can think she's working hard for us. When the reality is she wasn't there for the nuts and bolts of what makes the city run. How sad that this city might have a mayor like this.

Just wait

Just wait until she tries to crown herself princess by getting rid of the city mgr and making the mayor a full time position.

Tried Before

Don't you remember when Lee Gray and friends tried to lobby for that - a full time mayor and no city manager? Hopefully, after the extensive search done to replace Joyce, most on City Council understand the training, education, and experience required to run a city. It's not something that can be done well by a figurehead.

And it has been proven

That a figure head can't do it. Shaver has failed miserabley in my opinion.
