2008 is the year for the City of Pickerington to cut the cord from the parasitic township.
C'mon folks. It is time for some tough love.
Cut them loose.
Now that they are taking our ''Beloved Fire Department'' out of the city why keep them around?
Let's quit enabling the bratty, spoiled child.

What's the Chief say?
What's Ken Taylor say about the move? I think the location is good geographically, but traffic is bad depending on the time of day & really dangerous for all involved if you've seen them negotiate the Columbus St./Hill Rd. intersection. The fire house is on a very small parcel - they may just need more space. The area was much smaller when that was first allocated to the station. Is it possible they just have growing pains like the rest of the city? Relax - I say city as in Columbus, Dublin, Olentangy, etc...fast growing areas.

What's the plan
Where's the fire departments 5 year plan? 10 year plan? 20 year plan?
We ask the city. We ask the schools. But we don't dare ask the trustees.
Just the talk about the city forming its own township and this is what you get. Cooperation. My achin' arse.
