News flash this just in:
Steve Davis chairman of the Fairfield County Republican Party will resign on December 5th. It is unclear at this point if the Vice Chairman David (Fairfield Christian Church) Smalley will take over or will they call for new election and elect Kyle Farmer out of Baltimore?
With rising criticiums from party leaders and the disunity of the party roots it is apparent that new leadership is needed. I am sure the county party is feeling the same disarry as the NW club. Let's see who was in charge when they started their sprial down hill? Oh my goodness the same two, Batman and Robin.

Democrat or Republican?
It is interesting to live in a county where a county republican party and members of its executive committee openly support and campaign for Democratic candidates.
The case of Jeff Fix who is the secretary of the Fairfield County Republican party openly supported and wrote the campaign material for Tricia Sanders who is a registered Republican. Both supporting a flawed economic model to increase commercial revenues to support a rec. center. I am sure we will soon find that the folks in the city will need to choose between having a place to send the kids in the afternoon to swim or exercise or wait hours for the police to arrive when an emergency occurs.
The cold hard reality is that NO ONE on council is anti commercial. However the flawed plans of Fix is to give away untold millions of dollars to the township in exchange for simply sitting at the table with his highness Gary Weltlich. He couldn't find a Republican to buy into his idiotic plans so he recruits a female democrat who has no problems raising everyone's taxes.
Then there is Miss Heidi who for years now has had her campaign manager a register Democrat. Both Fix and Riggs are on the County Republican Executive committee and yet they openly support the democrats with their efforts.
So what is the deal with the County Republicans? Are they Republicans or are they Democrats in sheep's wool?
Don't get me wrong I know democrats and I have few that I would call them friends. But when someone tells you he is a Republican and he is deeply involved with said party then you should think he would be LOYAL to his own party members.
Clearly Fix and Riggs are not loyal to anyone but their inflated egos.
To the Republican party take me off your mailing lists, I quit. I only wish I could get back the money I sent your candidates this past election.

I know what you meant to say but you said she was a registered Republican whereas she's a registered Democrat.

Looks like she's been a faithful Dem for a while. I'm not being critical of her party affiliation but it is interesting she was so heavily supported by a supposed die-hard Republican.
