Red light cameras are an invasion of privacy? Please, Brian and / or Cristie, help me out here... how does a red light camera constitute an invasion of privacy? The Ohio Supreme Court has already ruled on this and they have determined that such cameras are legal.
Brian - you cite that you ''heard'' these cameras will create an increase in rear end collisions. I think that you heard this factiod on this very website from Mr Barletta. Unfortunately, neither you nor Tony are willing to cite a source or even a statistic to support what you heard. Please provide this information.

Happy to provide FACTS
I'll gladly reply to this posting.
I do not look to PATA for ''facts'' no matter who is signing their name or not. Since my blog is effectively dead I'll post a reply here.
As I told some council members yesterday there is this wonderful over-priced company called Google that has a product you may wish to try using.
I'll tackle the ethical dilema I have regarding privacy in another posting when I get the time.

Question for you
''Brian - you cite that you ''heard'' these cameras will create an increase in rear end collisions. I think that you heard this factiod on this very website from Mr Barletta. Unfortunately, neither you nor Tony are willing to cite a source or even a statistic to support what you heard. Please provide this information.''
Where exactly was I supposed to cite this source or statistic? I assume you're referring to the Dispatch article this AM.
When I made my statements during the presentation from Redflex I mentioned the studies in Australia, CO, and Virginia where extensive research was performed on red-light cameras.
I can hardly be blamed because the Dispatch didn't cite my sources of information.
If you wish to discuss this further in person I can be reached at 614.975.2905.

Rhetorical Brian
Brian, don't expect a call or a name signed to a posting. The original poster already deliberated this topic with you in person last night I'm sure.
He's short, round and wants to rule the world.
No, I don't mean you Mike ={O
