City ownership not starting well

Posted in: PATA
I hope this is not a sign of things to come. Pickerington buys the Swim Club and immediately things look like a city owned facility. Mike Donley, and then Dave Watros, kept the Swim Club looking great. The grass was cut, the facility clean. The grass hasn't been touched yet this year, dandelions are everywhere.

Hey Picktown, is it that difficult to arrange for the grass to be cut? It's not like you didn't know about springtime and grass growing when you bought the place!

Eyes of the beholder

Actually those are wild flowers and they are beautiful.
Hurry while they last

Hey numbers guy. I hear the memberships applications are coming in so fast that the city will need to cut them off because they have reached the pool's capacity.
Then it isn't a lack of cash

Great, glad to see the public's investment is paying off. A large number of applications would imply there should be enough cash in the till to hire a lawn service and get someone out there to maintain the place. Since it hasn't been done yet points to poor planning or a don't care attitude. Mike and Dave took great care of the club. I expect the city to do no less.
