The financial records are public ... we have to file tax returns since we are a 501c3 organization. The Pickerington Central Athletic Booster are meeting next Wednesday 7pm at the high school.
The Pickerington Central Quarterback Club next meeting has not been set yet. But if you get me your email address, I will let you know when it is....
You are welcome to come to any of the booster meetings.

the tigers boys basketball camp checks are payable to Jerry Groves. the panther camp is payable to Pete Liptrap.
If the coaches are using any school facilities, they should pay the standard rental to the school system for facility use -- imho.

So what?
Why are you trying to stir up something when there is nothing to stir?
So what the checks are payable to the coaches? Who do you think benefits from these camps... maybe potential Tiger or Panther basketball players? The coach is representative of their perspective team so why should they not get paid? Do you work for free?
You are complaining about something that does not matter... except to you. If you have an axe to grind, follow Garys advise and come to the booster meeting on Wednesday and voice your concerns. I'd bet that you won't show up, all you want to do is whine on this website cause your little boy did not make the team.

Can I have the field?
It is this simple:
If Bob, Tom and I can reserve the football and soccer fields for exclusive use for a week for a lacrosse or whatever camp, charge a camp fee that we keep, and the school gives us the facilities for free -- then fine.
If that option is not open to Bob, Tom and myself but it is open to the coaches -- that's not fine. Outside of their coaching contract they are private citizens, no different from Bob, Tom and myself. They should not have access to taxpayer paid facilities any different than any taxpayer. If the PLSD has provided them free access as part of their supplemental coaching contract then it is a something where we should ask the school board to explain that perk.
